About the event

Indra Sampat Yajña

In the Ṛgveda, our seers have revealed powerful sūktas for wealth and prosperity—invoking abundance in all forms: fertile land, gold, cattle, rich harvests, flourishing trade (vāṇijya abhivṛddhi), plentiful food, homes, vehicles, and overall prosperity.

The Indra Sampat Yajña is a sacred fire ritual where we invoke Bhagavān Indra, the granter of plentitude, together with Goddess Śrī (Lakṣmī), the eternal bestower of wealth and fortune. This Yajña is performed only upon divine intuition received by Guruji, and usually on Fridays (Bhṛgu-vāram), the day sacred to wealth and abundance.

Following the prayoga-vidhāna prescribed by Śrī Gaṇapati Muni, and meticulously structured by his beloved disciple Brahmarṣi Daivarāta Vaiśvāmitra, this Yajña uses ancient Ṛgvedic mantras to invoke blessings from the Vedic pantheon:Indra, Brahmaṇaspati, Bṛhaspati, Agni, Vāyu, Savitṛ, Rudra (Śiva), Indrāṇī, Viśve Devas, Sūrya, Varuṇa, Viṣṇu, Vaiśvānara, Durgā, the sacred Cows (Gāvaḥ), the Waters (Āpo Devāḥ), and Goddess Śrī.
