As the founder of Circumpunkt Learning Solutions, Madhav Guruji designed and launched a widely appreciated online course—Employability Skills & Competency Development—for Acharya Nagarjuna University, which remains available on its MOOC platform.
Parallel to his corporate journey, Phani Madhav Guruji has pursued an intense and lifelong spiritual quest. This journey began in early childhood, marked by profound existential reflections, inner silence, and intuitive engagement in Neti-Neti Bhāvanā—the Vedic process of negating all that is not the Self. From as early as eight years of age, he experienced states of deep detachment from the body and glimpses of the formless self-awareness, all without external promptings or teachings.
At 19, Madhav Guruji made a life-altering decision to leave home in pursuit of Sannyāsa, armed only with two sacred texts—Ātma Bodha and Dāsabodha. Roaming the streets of Haridwar amidst political unrest, he was led by divine grace to Mahant Śrī Jagadish Giri Mahārāj of the Pañchadaśnām Juna Akhāḍā, who initiated him into powerful yogic disciplines. There, on the banks of the Ganga, he lived the austere life of a sādhaka, performing pūjā, practicing Haṭha Yoga, and exploring the sacred solitude of Himalayan forests.
These mystical experiences—forest tapasya, encounters with reclusive yogis, and surrender to the unknown—deepened his inner strength and spiritual clarity. They became the foundation of his path as a spiritual guide and torchbearer of Vedic revivalism.
Madhav Guruji has done Tapasya in Haridwar (1994 & 1997), Srisailam (1996), G. Koduru Village (1998), A.K. Padaivedu (2003, 2006, 2007), and Arunachalam (2007)—all while simultaneously fulfilling corporate roles since 1996. He believes that Tapasya is not an isolated act but a continuous way of life. For him, spirituality is not to be compartmentalized or postponed, but should infuse all aspects of living—professional, personal, and relational. As he puts it, “Tapasya is the core responsibility of an individual to explore and discover one’s own true nature.” He is deeply grateful for the unwavering support of his wife and two children, who walk with him in this path. Madhav Guruji believes that family life, far from being a hindrance, is the ideal ground for Self-realization, where the principles of dharma, love, and detachment are naturally tested and refined.
Madhav Guruji is currently at the forefront of a cultural-spiritual renaissance inspired by Kāvyakaṇṭha Śrī Ganapati Muni, whose works he has been diligently translating into English, Telugu, and Hindi since 2019. With over 650 videos of lectures and discourses on Vedic, Yogic, and Tantric subjects, Madhav Guruji continues to reach seekers across the world. He conducts weekly satsangs every Saturday and Sunday, guiding aspirants in the practices of Yoga, Tapasya, Mantra Sādhanā, and Vedic contemplation.
He is the founder of Tapovanam, a spiritual retreat situated on four acres of forest-adjacent land near Udayagiri, Andhra Pradesh, India. Designed as a sanctuary open to all—irrespective of caste, gender, or social identity—it houses a traditional Goshālā and functions as a living centre of yajña, mantra recitation, and Vedic lifestyle education. He is currently seeking support to develop a 50-acre Vedic Village, envisioned as a revival of the timeless ṛṣi heritage.
Madhav Guruji regularly conducts Indra Yajñas, Brahmaṇaspati Yajñas, and other Vedic rituals invoking cosmic harmony, dharmic upliftment, and divine inspiration for collective well-being.
To date, Madhav Guruji has translated over 30 seminal works of Śrī Ganapati Muni and authored a groundbreaking Vedic research work—“Brahmaṇaspati Bṛhaspati Mantra Sūktas”—a comprehensive English translation with interpretative commentary on select Ṛgvedic hymns dedicated to the divine speech-principle.
These works, ready for publication, form the cornerstone of his mission to preserve and share the profound legacy of the Ṛgveda and Mahāyogins like Śrī Ganapati Muni with the modern world. Through his books, teachings, yajñas, and ashram, Madhav Guruji envisions the restoration of Vedic glory and the building of a society rooted in spiritual clarity, inclusive wisdom, and dhārmic values.
He invites like-minded patrons and seekers to support this noble endeavor—to publish rare texts, build Tapovanam, and carry forward the living flame of Sanātana Dharma.
